Talk about a recipe that is American through and through! Here's an all-American burger recipe is that I, together recently. I use beer in many developing recipes, as I improved in the flavors of a recipe and adds layers of flavor. Be especially patriotic and use a US-American practices for this recipe!
Ingredients:
1.5 kilograms of lean meat
1 egg, beaten
2 cloves garlic, chives
1 12 oz bottle of beer
4 tsp.brown sugar
1 tsp. Chili powder
4 tsp. McCormick Grill Mates ® ® Roasted Garlic Montreal Steak ® seasoning
1 tsp. Lawry's ® seasoned pepper (or black pepper)
2 tbsp. Butter
1.5 cups of sweet onion cut into thin slices
2 tbsp. Soy sauce
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Louisiana Hot Pepper Sauce
1 tsp. Mustard
7 or 8 hamburger buns
Instructions:
Die Burger:
Ina large bowl, thoroughly combine the ground beef, egg, 1 clove garlic, 3 tsp. the brown sugar, chili powder, and two tablespoons. the beer. Set) in pies (to seven or eight small pies. On a well-oiled grill, grill burgers, sprinkling of Montreal Steak ® seasoning and seasoned pepper on each side of the burgers while grilling. Serve on toasted hamburger buns and top with beer braised onion sauce (see below).
The beer-braised onion sauce:
MeltMelt the butter in a saucepan (prevention) of too hot. Add the onions and remaining clove minced garlic and sauté for 5-10 minutes. Add half the remaining beer, and the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp. brown sugar, mustard, and yellow. Cooking is good until the beer is absorbed into the onions and the onions are slightly brown. The rest of the beer and cook for a while.
