Recipe - Scampi Shrimp - A Family Favorite

Fish was always abundant, where I grew up on the west coast of Florida. Shrimp was a dinner staple in our house. This shrimp scampi recipe was formulated from a combination of flavors and ingredients from my all time favorite restaurant recipes in my hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Shrimp Scampi

1 pound (peeled and deveined) jumbo fresh shrimp
1 medium onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup butter orMargarine, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 teaspoon steak sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Cooked fettuccine

Devein and peel shrimp. Cook onion and garlic in butter in a large skillet (medium heat), stirring constantly, 4 minutes. With lemon juice and next 3 ingredients. Bring to boil, add shrimp and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 5 minutes or turn to pink shrimp. Are active and fettuccine. Yield: 3 to4 servings

When I moved away from the coast of Florida, where fresh seafood is abundant, I have also moved away from the seafood specialty restaurants, which I always loved to eat during my apprenticeship. I started experimenting in my kitchen, where I perfected this recipe for Shrimp Scampi. My goal was to achieve a recipe shrimp with just the right combination of herbs, Worcestershire sauce and butter, perfect for lots of flavor and aroma. I like they are working andFettuccine, but can be served over rice or any other kind of pasta. It should be doubled or even tripled for a large group and works well with a salad or vegetables of choice on the page.

Easily Make Your Favorite Restaurant Recipes

I love cooking. The process of creating my own masterpiece, and the presentation of people who appreciate it (by swallowing it down) gives me great satisfaction. I like to see the surprise on their faces when I present them with the different courses. I believe the compliments and enhances the smile.

It is not always so. There have been failures, and the polite use of them. You see, I do not have a natural talent for cooking. I can read them and follow aRecipe. At first I thought I was on the essentials: Meatloaf, Grilled Steak, Baked Chicken and others. Fortunately, most of the recipes I found were all first rate. There have been a few stinkers, but most of my guests commented on the "restaurant feel" of the dinner. It was like going to dinner at my house!

Then I started doing some more research. I thought to myself: "If I do go out at night, what are some of the things I liked and why I take a restaurant onanother? "The answer was obvious. I take the restaurants that I go, to offer on the basis of certain courts and what my desire is at this moment.

When I stop to eat salad and want to have three orders of Sicilian Scampi, I go to more than at The Olive Garden. If I want slabs of red meat and the awesomeness that is a Bloomin 'Onion, then my goal would be the Outback Steakhouse. Eating in the light of the grounds for going out, I made a list of dishes that I like best about my favorite --Restaurants. I beat the Internet and tries to find these secret restaurant recipes.

But unfortunately, my search was in vain. I would like to share some were nearby, but they were handled cheap imitations of restaurants recipes on my favorite restaurants. None of them captured the quality and interception of the restaurant offers.

Then I hit gold.

Now, when I invite friends for dinner surprise. Everyone's favorite restaurant recipes are prepared and presented with flare. Do not go toThe Olive Garden Sicilian Scampi for. Do it yourself!
